Safeguarding and Compliance Team

In order to ensure that we recruit in a safe and compliant manner, our in-house Safeguarding and Compliance Team work alongside the recruitment team to ensure that every social worker who works through SocialWork 2000 is compliant and has been met face to face by us.  As members of APsco's ASWEB sector group, we undergo yearly audits to ensure that we meet their standards.  As well as meeting their minimum requirements set, the team are continually looking into new ways that we can exceed them.

Your registration meeting

The face to face registration meeting is part of our safeguarding process to ensure candidates are suitable for working with vulnerable people and will include a discussion about your skills, experience, and professional practice.  There is also a strong focus on exploring your individual job hunting requirements to ensure we are able to match you with the most ideal roles and assist you in progressing your career.

To complete the registration you will be required to:

  • Complete and submit an application form and a DBS form

  • Provide five years’ worth of reference details.

  • You will also need to bring original documents to the meeting to be viewed, including identification, qualifications, and proof of address.

The meeting will take around an hour to complete, and can take place at a time and location that is convenient for you, for example candidates who are currently employed often choose to have a lunchtime meeting somewhere nearby their work.
