Ben Arnold - Managing Director
Ben began his career in recruitment straight from graduating from the University of North London. His first job was recruiting for a small care work agency based on Highgate Road in Islington. From here Ben we went on to join a social work recruitment agency and it is here that he learnt his trade.
In 2000 Ben launched Amicus Recruit with the belief that he could offer more to his candidates and deliver a professional service to his clients that added value. During the years that followed Ben ensured that his knowledge of the market remained current and unsurpassed through networking with both his clients and also his competitors. From here, Ben led the merger between SocialWork 2000 and Amicus Recruit in 2010 - two different agencies with the same values and standards.
Ben is not alone in the management of SocialWork 2000, and is complimented by James Brown, a former qualified social worker and Michael Jeffries, a qualified Chartered Accountant. Together they form 3d Recruit under which SocialWork 2000 proudly trades, alongside its sister company Amicus Recruit.
If you have any questions for Ben, he is always on hand to talk or meet with you. Our candidates and clients are the integral part of Amicus, and he is always keen to hear your views and ideas for the future.
"I am immensely proud of the advancements that we as a company have made, along with our continual commitment to raising the standards of social work recruitment. The team here at SocialWork 2000 just get better and better, and our candidates are some of the best social workers in the profession. Being a part of their careers and assisting in their progression through the provision of CPD training is something we hold dear.
Our vision for the future is to continue to provide the social work profession with a principled recruitment service that is sustainable and positively enhances people's careers and our clients success".
